The Inkwell Project

The Inkwell Project will highlight the creation of carnival costumes worn by masqueraders in Caribbean and cultural carnival parades worldwide. New fabrication technologies, such as 3D printing, and innovative design techniques will be used to improve the vibrancy, mechanical movement, and comfort for participants. As an example, the headpiece is a central component of all carnival costumes, and the project team aims to become a leader in the innovation and technological growth of this element of costume design.
